We currently have an opening at our Legacy Junction facility located in Camrose, Alberta. SALES AGRONOMIST Sales Agronomists are responsible for contributing to increased sales volumes and overall business unit and corporate profitability by way of marketing products and services to farm and other retail customers throughout a specified trading area and must regularly provide accurate and label directed agronomic and crop production information to customers. Other responsibilities include: creation and implementation of marketing plans to help match agronomic products and services that Richardson Pioneer offers to customers; agronomic training and updates to staff; accurate product forecasting; and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Agriculture and/or a minimum of 3 - 5 years of agronomy and crop inputs sales experience, excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Applications. The Certified Crop Advisor designation would be considered an asset. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing administrative and operational duties in support of the facility. Responsibilities include: · Accounts receivable and accounts payable. · Asset management. · Preparing communication materials. · Assisting in product logistics, grain sampling, and general office duties. · Providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess an Administrative Certificate/Diploma, or equivalent experience in an administrative role; knowledge of bookkeeping, general office practices, and Microsoft applications; experience in word-processing and/or data entry; and excellent organizational and communication skills. An agriculture background is considered an asset.
