 Since 1996, Bachner has been providing professional agricultural recruitment services, primarily throughout Eastern Canada and the Great Lakes region of the United States. He was formerly with Bestard Agricultural Placements.
He was raised on an Elgin County mixed-farm in south-western Ontario. Bachner honed his agricultural knowledge with a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, and subsequent years working in sales and marketing for firms such as United Co-operatives of Ontario, Masterfeeds, Ciba-Geigy (now Syngenta) and Alltech Biotechnology.
Mike will continue to be based in St. Marys, ON, serving his clients in Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces, as well as the expanding AgCall client base.
