Position: Agronomist

Tri West Agro Ltd. Is a locally and independently
owned Agricultural Input Retail facility. We have partnered with some of
the most innovative suppliers and development companies in the world. The
facility warehouses 3200 Square feet of Dry Goods storage and 3200
square foot AWSA Approved Warehouse for chemicals, and 4300 tonne bulk
bin storage capacity.
Description: As an agronomist you are accountable for
generating consulting revenues. As part of that role you will be responsible
for providing agronomy services to 12,000 acres currently under production. You
will be responsible for managing and growing both sales revenue and margin on chemical
programs, through chemical/fertilizer consultations with new and existing
customers. You will maintain customer profile data to support sales
initiatives. You will sell and promote
finance opportunities to existing producer customers. You will have a limited
role in blending of fertilizer and product shipments. You will be responsible
to maintain and adhere to safety standards throughout the facility. As part of
a professional continuous learning initiative you will attend seminars and
conferences.
Qualification: Demonstrated ability to work independently,
excellent interpersonal communication skills. Preference will be given to those
who have a minimum of 3 years experience in dealing with agricultural producers
at increasing levels of responsibility. You have Certified Crop Advisor status
or the ability to attain that status. P.Ag. or Tech. Ag. Certification is
considered an asset.
Compensation: Salary and bonus package in excess of 100K
annually, plus benefits.
