Sales Representative- Ag Ventilation Systems
Location: home office based position in Southwestern Ontario
Our client is the leading international manufacturer, distributor and installer of natural ventilation and circulation products for livestock production systems. Their products and systems have been installed in diverse climate conditions ranging from barns in the arid conditions of the Middle East to those within the frigid Arctic Circle, including the moderate zones of Russia, China, Australia and North America. Their products are positioned as medium to high-end in the market, and their commitment to superior and personalized customer service and the exemplary knowledge of their sales representatives further set them apart from their competition.
They seek a highly effective sales representative for an existing, well-developed and profitable territory in Southwestern Ontario. The position is available in anticipation of an impending retirement. The current representative has built a strong and established customer base within the territory, and your opportunity is to enjoy the benefits of that foundation while further developing business in the region.
The core responsibility of this position is to increase the customer base by applying knowledge and systems to new customer requirements while maximizing existing customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient handling of inquiries. You will then achieve revenue targets within the territory.

You bring the ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills and highly developed organizational skills. Your additional qualifications include:
- Secondary Education Diploma is required- further education is preferred, with emphasis in construction or agricultural engineering
- Understanding of intensive livestock housing systems, with an emphasis on dairy, and additional knowledge of swine and poultry systems
- Sales skills and experience in territory development and management
Our client is flexible regarding compensation, offering a base salary plus incentive or a highly-commissioned structure depending on the ideal candidate’s preference. In either case, this is a high income potential position! Benefits, vehicle, and other tools of the trade are also available.
