Account Manager

Location: bilingual position in Quebec

They currently seek a high-performing Account Manager.


This role is accountable for managing and promoting the business in the established territory of Quebec and Eastern Canada. The role includes accountability for the sales of all products, management of sales accounts, optimization and management of the customer base in the territory, growth of sales volume, and optimization of profit margins for the business unit as established by the national sales manager. Operating within the company in accordance with operation policies, corporate accounting, and financial and legal requirements is key.


To ensure your success in this key role, your qualifications include:

  • a Bachelor of Science or equivalent in animal sciences, marketing, business or related area
  • 3-5 years feed additive sales experience in the agricultural industry of the assigned geography
  • bilingual (French and English) language skills are required
  • deep knowledge and understanding of the Canadian feed markets
  • proven ability to move business forward in terms of net sales and profitability
  • initiative to make sure resources are properly used to achieve maximum potential
  • a collaborative team player approach to effectively work with technical support resources, marketing, and other team members
  • analytical skills to quantify practical business plans and solutions to customer needs
  • interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and drive business results
