We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to join our sales team, as a Sales Account Manager. This position will be based in Western Canada and responsible for prospecting, developing relationships and maintaining a customer base through the sale of liquid fertilizer products.
A strong agronomic background is required, as well as solid understanding of crop nutrition. A successful history in the direct sales and marketing of agricultural products or services is required. You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with liquid fertilizer is a definite asset. CCA and/or post- secondary education an asset. The ability to work independently is necessary. Territory to include Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Travel will be expected.
Key Responsibilities as a Sales Account Manager:
- Responsible for market development in designated territory
- Direct contact with growers to promote products, establish sales and build market share
- Exemplify company values and product benefits to growers and producers
- Develop and implement marketing and sales plans.
